Ditto on my 82. Grease would serve no purpose. I use oil (Military, Small Arms circa Vietnam because I have a large can of it). Most any oil will suffice - we're not talking about Nascar performance engines here. The Barrett Heavy Bore Cleaner is excellent. Or you can buy Bore-Tech Eliminator - same stuff Barrett repackages - for considerably less. My firearms live in a gun safe so no rust worries. If you do oil the bore, you have to remember to remove most, if not all, before firing. If not, the first round through gives a heck of a bang, Bad juju. When my oil is gone, I'll probably start using Militec. It seems to have good reviews.
