I'm sure to the .416 family of owners this will be a more than welcome turn of events. :camo:

$3.25 per unprimed case vs. $4.50 primed, powder and seated bullet ... hmmmm

Where's the Smilie Icon for "taking it in the ***"?

It's like Barrett is saying "anyone that buys the .416B has more money than brains". Continuously.

Not the best way to open the market to a new product. Especially one like the .416B that has been riddled with the worst go to market strategy in the industry since the Shrike.

We shall see what the entrepreneurs of the world come up with in the next few months.

hmm... I had written down 2.29 a couple of days ago and thought that wasn't cheap. I guess the price went up.
The marketing stategy must be that: "if you make it valuable enough other people will jump in a produce and thus create the affordable volume of something 'we' don't really want to do."

I must give Barrett credit though, It is not easy to convert a .50 BMG into a Barrett .416.
