Battle tested and currently employed by Many local swat teams as well as our Military.

Personally I have used the 12*42 Benchrest competition fantastic optics and 1/8 MOA adjustment.

The NXS line my favorite for the 50BMG is the 5.5*22*56 and if U aren't going with the BORs system get the zerostop.

Next up the Nightforce 8*32*56 1000 yards or less this has enough adjustment for a 50BMG.

Reticles

Go with the NPR1 or NPR2 they use MOA

I wish that Barrett would start selling the BORS/Nightforce combos....one stop shopping ;)

I have a feeling that that combo is going to make its way onto the new rifle that I am building.

Somewheres in between I'd actually guess:

Taint Chicken, Taint Tuna, must taste like "Kitty"

Spent the weekend at the range using the 8-32x56 NXS on my 98Bravo. WOW !! I put the Barrett 40 MOA scope rings on it for elevation. Barrett says to place the rings 7 spaces apart on the picatinny rail to get 40 degrees but I chose 9 spaces and it works out to 32.5 degrees up. So far I am out to 600 yards - ran out of range- but I know this thing will shoot to 1000 yards, question is can I. I love this scope and at about twilight flip on the illumination and the hair on the back of your neck stands up. Great job Nightforce!

I use a NXS 12-42x56 on a 98B. I really want to try the BORS but so far Barrett says it won't fit. Why will it fit the 32 power but not the 42? Aside from that - this is the best combo I have ever owned.
