U need to tell us more info then u provided.

For example how far R U shooting?

Typical wind conditions?

These will effect the Bullet selection and last what are you after target accuracy or stopping power on Game?

Not cheap but simply the very best I have shot.

This load hits with sub MOA out to 1200 yards.

Lapua Senar 300 gr Bullet

Vihtavuori N170 88.4 Gr

Lapua Brass

Federal Primers 215

Now here is the only issue.

Do you want to feed the 98B from the magazine then the most OAL you can use is 3.709 if I recall.

Good Luck

The very best load I have seen anyone get is using a Barnes 225 gr TTSX, 89.3 gr Retumbo, 2900 FPS average, .649 groups at 631 yards out of a 27" 98B

Thanks, Lin
