Barrel Removal

How do you remove a 98B barrel? I'm looking to get mine Cerakoted and if there's any special equipment involved I want to make sure the tech has it. I've seen the guys work and its good but I have this thing about allowing other people to wrench on my stuff. I'd sleep better if I did it myself providing that I don't need any specialized gear... I'm an aircraft mechanic so I have an extensive tool collection.

If you remove the barrel I would suspect you would need a way to hold the rifle (soft vice jaws) a castle nut wrench for the barrel nut, and a torque wrench. Not to mention wrenches to get the muzzle brake off. I would suggest calling Barret to see if they have the nut wrench and jaws and to verify the torque settings.

I think I'll just get the tools I need. At the rate I'm shooting I'll be going through some barrels anyway.
