here it the STATFOR article http://www.stratfor.com/weekly/20091104_counterterrorism_shifting_who_how

US is definitely on the target list, keep your eyes and ears open, maybe you get to help one of these assholes off the planet.

That many people hurt and killed, and he is still alive.
UNBELIEVABLE! :bs:

People think I'm paranoid because I own guns.
If I own guns, what do I have to be paranoid about?

Calling an illegal alien an "undocumented immigrant"
is like calling a drug dealer an "unlicensed pharmacist ".

I am not quite ready to make the connection to the AQ post although the timing is conspicuous.

One would think that many death's and injured result from a schoolyard or shopping mall shooting, not from a military base where the people present might no be armed but should have the training to avoid being shot or the guts to rush the shooter and contain the carnage.

Granted the shooter was trained, but so should be the targets. Why was he armed on the base when the FBI allegedly already had an eye on him? This guy must have been loaded with ammo walking onto the base with the intent to kill.

Sad day when our own military cannot feel safe in their own country anymore. The quality of our security is going down with all the rest of the services provided by this government, aligned at the least denominator.

The SOB jumped up onto a table while yelling "Allahu akbar," giving him a commanding field of fire in a crowded hall... lots of head shots.

Hope they revive him and burn him at the stake on the parade deck on a Sunday afternoon.

What sources are you using? You're getting stuff way ahead of me. Mainstream media isn't cutting the mustard.

BTW, CNN said: "Since 2001, Hasan had been telling his family that he wanted to get out of the military but was unsuccessful, said a spokeswoman for his cousin, Nader Hasan."

He was unsuccessfully trying to get out of the military since 2001? I know he was a mental health specialist; but is the Army really that hard up for psychiatrists? You've got a guy with conflicting beliefs, who doesn't believe in the Army, the US, or his mission; and he can't successfully resign his commission for 8 years? :conf:

He couldn't resign because he agreed to whatever number of years in turn for the Army paying his pay through Virginia Tech and then post graduate school.

Makes sense to a degree. He was financially obligated ... Despite 12 years of service. 12 years and he still was obligated to stay. Geez. Regardless, there's no excuse for shooting 43 people in a three-minute shooting spree.
