Lodging - Raton, NM - NRA Whittington Center Courses

So far here are the recommended lodging options:

NRA Whittington Center:

I like staying at the Whittington Center because of the cabins. The Founder's cabins are recommended if you can get into one. There is a large living area with plenty of seating and a full kitchen. Founder's cabins have four rooms with two beds per room. The rate is unbeatable. It is a very short drive on the property to the cafeteria and to the range. The only drawbacks to the cabins is no internet. This can be overcome by going into town and hanging out at McDonald's or Dairy Queen. Both of these places have free WiFi. I would support the restaurants though and buy a least a cup of coffee if you are using their internet. I'll post some pictures of the cabins when I get a chance. I will also post rates.

For hotels the Microtel is the way to go according to the last group that stayed there. If anyone that has stayed in another Raton hotel please let us know what you thought about it.

Just back from there and have to put my two cents in for the Holiday Inn Express as well.

Great place to stay and super friendly people.

I think it was $118 a night for two of us to stay.
