Purchased some Fed. AE 50 cal. at $267 for 100 rds. w/free shipping on an auction site, good stuff at that price!
I am not certain if I can mention the auction site here or the name of the seller on this forum..

I just bought a case of Fed. American Eagle XM33C (head stamp says 09) and was surprised to see a heavy coating of primer sealant. Each box had both red, purple, green and tan sealant on every primer. I have not fired it yet but hope that it does not leave deposits of sealant on the bolt face or in the firing pin hole?
Is this what is usually on these XM33C primers?
Should I return it?

That is normal (from my experience anyway) and I have had no issues because of it.
