Most excellent, Dsully. What do you think of the Magpul BAD lever on your .223?

I really like it. Its easier and faster (for me) to release the bolt on reloads and it doesn't get in the way. Easy installation. I just can't complain.

I don't want to seem like an anal retentive, but I have a suggestion..you might consider.

On your scope mountings (the M99 and the 700SPS), I'd suggest moving the front and rear rings so they take up the most real estate on the main tube. From the pictures, they can be moved quite a bit. That'll creat less flex/vibration on your main tubes. This is expecially true with the .50BMG. It'll involve a remount in both cases, but it may prove prudent, since it'll cause less stress on the scopes (after prolonged shooting).

I'd post a slo-mo video of a .50BMG with severe scope/rail flexing, but I can't seem to find it.

I usually would but in the instructions for the ExRings, states that the rings should be 9 slots between the 2 rings. So I changed it from the original wide position I had to the ones on the instructions. Now, for the 700, I have no excuse but it is wider then the 50. :conf:

Yeah... you're quite correct. After I posted I went back and checked on the ExRings instructions - that's why I edited my original post.... Otherwise it was a sincere attempt at Internet BS-ery
