A weapon that I think we all need.

Postby Samurai » Tue 21 Apr, 2009 8:20 pm

I think that it has been mentioned before,
but at the risk of repeating something, I wll mention it here.

I know most of us on here have quite a few weapons and are looking for ammunition.

One of the rifles that I believe you need during these times, just in case, is a .22 rifle.
The ammo is cheap, it doesn't make a lot of noise, and if times get harder, can be used
for hunting food. A lot less noise when you don't know who is around you.

I have a few, and I am getting one more.

JMO, but I feel it is a good option.

I've got a ruger 10/22, an old winchester pump action 22 that my grandpa gave me, a bolt action 22 my father in law gave me, a marlin lever action 22 that my pa in law also gave me. A "bounty hunter" six shooter pistol that has the interchangeable cylinders for either 22 lr, or 22mag rounds. And boxes of bullets. They are cheap fun and my grandpa probably killed more deer in the headlights with a 22 mag than most men have shot with their large caliber "hunting rifles" in a lifetime....god rest his soul.

The 10/22 is my favorite also.
If you have an Academy check them, they carry them,
and also wallie world carries them.

I know you got one of them.

I also have a hand full of 22s and ammo. Its the best rifle to have when the none ammo buyers want to shoot your guns.

10/22 ftw. Cheap to shoot, tons of accessories. Put sub-sonic ammo in it and it sounds like a pellet gun, practically. Definitly a "must have" gun!
