I think that it has been mentioned before,
but at the risk of repeating something, I wll mention it here.

I know most of us on here have quite a few weapons and are looking for ammunition.

One of the rifles that I believe you need during these times, just in case, is a .22 rifle.
The ammo is cheap, it doesn't make a lot of noise, and if times get harder, can be used
for hunting food. A lot less noise when you don't know who is around you.

I have a few, and I am getting one more.

JMO, but I feel it is a good option.

I couldn't agree more with you. I truly believe a .22 is a necessity for all arsenals. I no longer own any, but I'm back in the market to get me another as I miss shooting them.

While I agree completely with the original post I went with another option.

I recently purchased a semi auto rifle in the .17 hmr caliber. I am very pleased with it
thus far. It is slighty more expensive to shoot than a 22 LR or 22 magnum but it also
has its advantages in FPS and range. The ammo so far has been readily available at local
stores for $15 for a box of 50. Not bad but not as good as 22 LR but again I am paying
for the performance of this exceptional small round and so far it delivers.

Another thing I notice is shotgun ammo is more than readily available in all the stores
I have visited. So again another somewhat cheap and more powerful alternative to the
oh so great 22 LR and 22 magnum.

While I am glad that you are happy with your purchase,
I hate to see you pay that much for ammunition.

I can buy 550 rounds of .22 for around $17.00.
